RDPI organized a session on Anti-Sexual Harassment Legislation at Work Place. The session was conducted by Ms. Bushra Khaliq – a women right activist –. She has been working with different issues related to women like women protection, women rights, human rights and sexual harassment at work place. The session was organized in RDPI head office.

There was no school facility for the children of this village before this, yet government has not approved primary school for this village. With the support of Plan, RDPI and HWA they have got first time school for their kids. About 41 children of this village will start their new future. The community of this village have appointed a teacher from their village and they will pay (Rs, 4000/=) thousands monthly with their own contribution. Members of Children groups were very happy that they have got school facility and now they will also get education like the children of other villages.

The Inauguration ceremony of the Pedestrian Bridge is scheduled on Friday 13-01-2012 by Hamdard Welfare Association (HWA). Rural Development Policy Institute (RDPI) Thatta team and other partner CSOs teams will be participating in the ceremony.
