Children Assembly Rajanpur

Robina is a student of grade 3rd in community school, resident of Basti Chawali. She is 10 years old. Expressing her views about her first exposure visit, she says “It was the very first experience of my life to come City Park to attend children assembly, and to see the performances by other children. It was a great motivation for me. I got confidence by performing at a big stage. The confidence and courage I have gained from all this limelight, will boost my energy to participate regularly in such events. My siblings and parents were really surprised to see what I did on the stage. Especially my father encouraged me a lot. She was very happy that I was the first girl of the village who brought a good name for the children and people of the entire village. Recently I have written a speech and I want to deliver it as a girl performed in the assembly and got 1st position.” Her happiness is remarkable keeping in view the socio-cultural background she belongs to. Such an exposure may certainly bring a considerable change in the life of such disadvantaged children.
